Budget 2023-24
According to the Kulanada Grama Panchayat Budget for the financial year 2023–24, the opening balance is ₹55.36 lakh. The Panchayat estimates a total income of ₹26.77 crore and a total expenditure of ₹26.81 crore. The projected revenue includes ₹1.02 crore from taxes, ₹49.57 lakh from non-tax sources, ₹1.52 crore from own-source funds, and ₹1.45 crore from the General Purpose Fund. It is also estimated that ₹14.28 crore will be received through various government grants and other funds. In addition, ₹6.50 crore is expected from non-plan grants and ₹3.03 crore as capital receipts.
On the expenditure side, ₹2.56 crore has been allocated for statutory and public services, ₹14.46 crore for development and plan activities, and ₹6.50 crore for non-plan expenditure. After accounting for all receipts and expenditures, the Panchayat expects to close the financial year 2023–24 with a balance of ₹50.53 lakh.
