Budget 2022-23
According to the Kulanada Grama Panchayat Budget for the financial year 2022–23, the opening balance is ₹63.59 lakh. The Panchayat estimates a total income of ₹25.81 crore. The projected revenue includes ₹94.52 lakh from taxes, ₹47.56 lakh from non-tax sources, ₹1.42 crore from own-source funds, and ₹1.33 crore from the General Purpose Fund. In addition, ₹12.46 crore is expected through various plan grants, ₹6.00 crore through non-plan grants, and ₹4.61 crore as capital receipts.
On the expenditure side, ₹2.31 crore has been allocated for statutory and public services, ₹12.69 crore for development and plan activities, and ₹6.00 crore for non-plan expenditure. Furthermore, ₹4.69 crore has been earmarked for capital expenditure and loan repayments. After accounting for all receipts and expenditures, the Panchayat expects to close the financial year 2022–23 with a balance of ₹75.42 lakh.
